Terms & Conditions

1. Introduction

These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) apply to all students (“Students”) and, where applicable, their parents or guardians (“Sponsors”), booking a place on the Pathway to Med School course (“the Workshop”) provided by Pathway to Med School Ltd (“we”, “us”, or “our”). By completing your booking, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

2. Admissions Disclaimer (The "No Guarantee" Clause)

  • Outcome: We provide expert guidance based on current medical school admissions trends. However, we do not guarantee that participation in the Workshop will result in an interview invitation or an offer of admission from any university.

  • Independent Judgment: Admissions decisions are made solely by individual medical schools based on their own criteria. Our advice is for educational purposes only.

3. Fees, Bookings, and Cancellations

  • Payment: All Workshop fees must be paid in full at the time of booking to secure a place.

  • Cooling-Off Period: Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, you have a 14-day right to cancel from date of purchase, and will receive a full refund, provided the Workshop has not yet taken place.

  • Cancellations by You:

    • Course are non-refundable from 14 days after booking.

    • If you need to cancel due to unforeseen circumstances, on a case by case basis we will do our best to accommodate you on an alternative date, but cannot guarantee this.

  • Cancellations by Us: We reserve the right to cancel the Workshop due to low enrollment or unforeseen circumstances (e.g. natural disaster). In such cases, a full refund or alternative date will be offered.

    • We are not liable for any third party costs e.g. non-refundable accommodation or travel costs.

4. Professional Conduct

  • Standard of Behaviour: Students must act professionally and courteously toward tutors and peers.

  • Confidentiality: Students will engage with real-life patients and must adhere to strict confidentiality.

  • Removal: We reserve the right to remove any Student from the Workshop for disruptive or unprofessional behaviour without a refund.

5. Intellectual Property

All materials provided (slides, mock questions, handouts) are the intellectual property of [Pathway to Med School Ltd]. They are for your personal, non-commercial use only and must not be shared, reproduced, or resold.

6. Safeguarding and Data Protection

  • Safeguarding: Course leaders will have appropriate Disclosure Scotland checks completed

  • Data Usage: Personal data (e.g., name, contact detailas) is processed in accordance with the Data Protection Act 2018 and our [Privacy Policy].

7. Limitation of Liability

  • Pathway To Med School will have public liability insurance for protection against costs arising from third party claims of injury, death or property damage

  • Exclusions: Nothing in these Terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud.

8. Complaints

If you are dissatisfied, please contact us at info@pathwaytomedschool.co.uk within 30 days of the Workshop. We aim to resolve all complaints fairly and promptly in line with our Complaints Policy. In the event of any dispute the Parties shall agree that the courts of Scotland shall have exclusive jurisdiction.

9. Photography & Media

  • Students may not take photographs or videos during the Workshop.

  • Pathway to Med School Ltd may take photographs for marketing purposes. Students can opt-out at the start of the course.

  • Any requests to remove images will be honoured on request.

10. Dietary Requirements

  • Pathway To Med School Ltd will provide lunch and refreshments, and will endeavour to take any dietary requirements into consideration. It will not always be possible to guarantee dietary requirements are catered for, however students can also provide their own meals and refreshments throughout the course.
